Course Description

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and chronic constipation (CC) are common gastrointestinal disorders that can significantly impact quality of life, work productivity, and social functioning. This program aims to support clinicians in identifying and managing IBS-C and CC by reviewing Rome V diagnostic criteria, Canadian guideline-based treatment strategies, and practical counselling approaches.

  • Support HCPs in identifying patients with IBS-C and functional constipation who are inadequately managed on OTC therapies and require treatment escalation.
