January | Make Vaccination Routine: Habits That Hold

$0.00

Description

In September you activated your team around one shared routine: Trigger → Action → Execution. In October you made that routine happen at every eligible patient encounter, not only the quiet ones. In November you gave the whole team one way to answer a concern and a clean hand-off to the pharmacist. In December you went back for the patients who had been missed. Five months of steady work.

This final module asks a different question. Not what should you and your team do next, but what stays. Because the pressure is about to come off, and that is exactly when a new routine is most likely to quietly disappear. This 15-minute module will give you:

  • An honest way to tell which of your team’s vaccine behaviours are genuinely routine, and which are still being carried by one or two people
  • A small set of structures that keep the routine running when eligible patients are no longer lining up in front of you.

This month in a nutshell: What your team built over five months is not automatically permanent. The implementation research is consistent on this point: programs that are fully implemented are usually only partially sustained, and the parts that survive are the ones wired into the workflow.1 Keep the trigger in the system, keep the work shared across the team, keep the prompts where the work happens, and point the same routine at the vaccines that are still due.
