About Us

rxBriefCase launched in March 2005. Thanks to our 30,000 pharmacist members, we have become the leading provider of continuing education for pharmacists in Canada. Pharmacists need access to clear, concise and relevant information they can trust. Written by the leading specialists in the field, our multimedia courses are informative and interactive. rxBriefCase designs its educational programs with the individual in mind and offers customized learning for various learning styles. Programs are self-directed with downloadable tools and resources made available to users. Using cutting-edge technology, one's online learning experience is both informative and enjoyable.

Programs are offered in the two official languages and are accredited by Canadian Council of Continuing Education in Pharmacy and Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec. All programs adhere to the most current version of the criteria as outlined in the above entities' accreditation guidelines and standards. All program expiry dates are listed on the program's main page.

In its short time, rxBriefCase has partnered with a number of retail pharmacy chains, provincial associations and professional societies producing high quality educational programming. It has also lent its innovative expertise and technology to the creation of new online offerings on rxPassport.

Our goal is to provide equal access to high quality programs that are relevant, timely, engaging and practical. rxBriefCase is financed through unrestricted grants from private industry and not-for-profit organizations. The rxBriefCase website hosts sponsored links (these links will be identified as such).
